Google Blogger has started pulling CYFSWATCH blog posts, stating non-compliance with it’s terms and conditions.
It is unclear at this stage if this is the result of the threatened action by NZ Govt lawyers, or if this is the result of people clicking the “Inappropriate” link at the top of the blog.
Just released yesterday, the NZ Herald has the story of 2 British social workers who accused New Zealand’s child protection agency of ‘gross professional incompetence’
Google’s Terms and conditions state that they are not in the position to judge defamation, and naturally, they aren’t – that’s for the courts. But without giving grounds for the pulling of posts it is unclear if this is censorship under pressure from the NZ govt, or not.
