Kiwicon the inaugural New Zealand hacker conference is being held in Wellington, on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of November, 2007.

Recently a stunt which involved exploiting a XSS hole on the NZ Herald website caused an article to be replaced by a spoof article publicizing the upcoming Kiwicon conference. Stuff has more coverage.
