SimpleDB and ActiveRecord

Amazon has announced SimpleDB – a database-like web service. While it has limitations, if an ActiveRecord adapter for Ruby on Rails can be made, these limitations could possibly be made transparent to the Ruby/Rails developer.

As the service is limited beta, and I know of no one at this stage with access, it’s a wait and see game.
