WDANZ misses it's own deadline

WDANZ was going to have it’s find a web developer page up by now, it says the service – helping a web design customer to find a web developer – will be up by the 1st of August. Well thats today.

I am curious as to how this will work, I’m guessing a directory of sorts. I would hope so anyway, as I think a requirements gathering form with WDANZ recommending a web designer, would just be too hard to police as impartial.

update: The form is up. It’s a very simple requirements gathering form and WDANZ members will receive the requests and provide a quote. However the form has no entry validation which is shoddy web design by any standards… This is why many web developers in New Zealand don’t want WDANZ to be the defacto web developers association of New Zealand, if anything such an organisation should lead by example.
