Woosh has a new broadband product, it’s called Broadband in a Box
For the individual user you get a modem and 6 months of DSL. This works out to about $41.50 a month, which is comparible to Xtra’s plans ( they give a free modem and install too ) albeit a bit slower ( 1.6 Mbps for woosh ).
What got me was their FAQ page, which states “This gives you 1GB of data per month which is plenty for most people.”. Is it? Or is 1GB all most people can afford, due to broadband prices, so while a lot of people only download around 1GB a month, if they could, they would download a lot more.
