yEd rocks. It’s a Graph editor, but what got me excited was the way it re-arranges diagrams and graphs.

I’ve you’ve ever made UML diagram that resembled a birdsnest, this will sort it out and make it beautiful!

Oh and it’s free! ( Though not open source ). Because it is written in Java, there is an online demo as well.
